(January 24 , 2013)

Firehole Composites, leaders in development of advanced composite analysis software, announced an new release of their front end design and analysis tool suite, Helius:CompositePro.  Inspired by customer feedback,Helius:CompositePro Version 4.2 includes a package of improvements designed to give users key new features and improve overall efficiency and ease of use.

Enhancement topics of interest include the ability to exportmaterial/laminates to finite element analysis formats (Abaqus, ANSYS,NASTRAN), improved sandwich stability calculations, support for fiber volumes lower than 30%, “Remember My Laminate” functionality, Factor of Safety, thick wall pressure vessel calculations and more.

Firehole also offers 7-day, no cost evaluation licenses of the software online at firehole.com.  With testimonials like, “ Without reading a single instruction page, I was easily able to look at stress and strain levels, deflections, and vibration modes with CompositePro. Nicely done!” Firehole believes this short evaluation period provides the potential customer an excellent opportunity to give the software a workout and determine if it will help assist in their composite analysis challenges.
